bridge template attached to bridge blank. shown here prior to bandsawing close to the outline, prior to pattern routing the precise shape. even though the overhang was about 1/2 mm all the way around i ended up with a bit of tear out in two spots on the bridge when routing due to challenges with the grain direction vs the orientation of the flush cut bit bearing. on close consideration i decided it might be possible to patch the blank with an offcut and procede with it.
