binding
attaching the top bindings and purfling was fairly similar to the process for the back with the additional complexity of managing gluing each layer of purfling simultaneously to the bindings. the butt joint at the tail needed care to make sure that the ends of all binding and purfling from the treble and bass sides joined flush. the head joint will be covered by the fretboard thus was not mitered like the visible joint at the head on the back bindings.
