cutting the binding ledges went smoothly. like many of the previous operations, many hours of jig building and tuning ultimately resulted in a few minutes of use and fairly clean results. that said, there remained a bit of cleanup in the endgrain where the cutter did not fully severe all the fibers - moreso in the spruce soundboard, but also a bit in the rosewood back.
