gluing the back to the sides after careful fitting and using the radius dish as back caul. there are tonal, moisture exchange, and repairability arguments for and against finishing the inside of the back and sides, but it is common practice to leave the inside unfinished and the gore / gilet book does not specify to do so, so i left it unfinished.
