bending
after several failed tries varying the recipe of heat/time/water, i reached out for advice on the loothgroup - an online community of guitar builders and repairers. i received a very helpful response suggesting to try less soaking and much faster bending. following this advice, i was much more successful, ending up with smooth curves around the cutaway nose and recurve where before i had facets and fractures.
